Niching Up: The Narrower the Market, the Bigger the Prize by Chris Dreyer is a business non-fiction book where the author, who is a successful CEO and founder of an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) company called Rankings.io, shares secrets of his success and how niching helped his business become one of the best in the United States.

In this book, the author places emphasis on niching. Niching up refers to focusing your business on a specific group and having a specialized approach to that market. Initially, it addresses the cons of niching in detail. It allows the reader to see the unbiased opinion of the author towards the concept. Then, it is followed by its pros and different approaches towards it, as different types of businesses have their own fashions of niching up. The book ends with a conclusion that sums up all the chapters in a very clear manner. It teaches how to utilize the concept of niching and discover its advantages while being aware of its shortcomings.

I found this book to be very informative. There is a lot to be learned from this book, both in the ways of business and somehow in the ways of life (this is my opinion). It was fascinating to find the use of popular culture throughout the book as a method to connect the author's ideas with the theories. I found it immersive. All the theories are backed up with precise concepts and examples from the author’s life. Everything is well thought out, and the ideas are very clearly expressed. The book is professionally edited.

I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I found it to be a great read with a good opportunity to learn something new. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about business or grow their business.
