Is there a someone that does not want to figure out their purpose? I am certain most people in the universe want to know about their purpose. If you are looking for a book that will guide you to find your purpose and take it forward, you have come to the right place!
I found the book Purpose by Gina Bianchini inspiring and practical to use. The story telling throughout the book is exceptional and captured my imagination throughout the book. I have worked on my purpose a couple of times and the most challenging part of it was how to take it forward!
The book outlines a step-by-step process to identifying your purpose and I found the steps quite useful. The book also outlines a framework to take your purpose forward. Until I read this book, I had not found a book or material that illustrates how to take a purpose forward. The book’s approach of creating a community to carry out my purpose was enlightening, and I will surely follow through on it.
I also reflected on people that I admire that are successful at what they do and realized that they unknowingly apply the principle of building a community around their purpose. A testament of what the book proposes.
In one of the sections, the book outlines the purpose 30 exercise – I am also finding the purpose 30 excises to be heart-warming and priceless. The purpose 30 consists of a set of questions to be answered for an extended period. I feel good vibes after answering the questions!
The use of stories with people Gina Bianchini knows gives the author credibility. As someone that grew up in Cupertino, Gina tells stories of well known and respected business individuals such as Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Henry Ford in a refreshing manner. In addition, sharing stories of how it all began for the big brands we know today, brands such as Apple and Ford makes affords one means to extrapolate how the movements that produced these organizations started.
All in All, the book greatest value is in its practical frameworks and easy to perform exercises.
On a scale of 4, I rate the book 4 out 4. On a scale of 5, I rate the book 5 out 5.
The book is exceedingly amazing, and I would encourage anyone that takes their purpose seriously to read the book.
