I loved this book. I'm so glad I came across this book “Fasting Firepower” and had the opportunity to read it. I have always had an interest in educating myself on the advantages of fasting. The author of this book did a fantastic job explaining the many benefits a person may experience when fasting. He did a great job opening my eyes to how fasting can help someone's spiritual relationship in addition to helping the physical body. I loved how the author made the choice to incorporate so many biblical passages. This was both inspirational and educational. I thought this helped to reinforce the spirituality aspect of a fast. He helps the reader to see the relationship between spiritual health and physical health. Which, he (Marjan) explains, is so important. I also loved how the author took the time to give in-depth background to his personal experiences. By revealing his journey and struggles, he gives the reader hope in succeeding on his/her journey. I am confident in attempting a fast, now that I have gained the knowledge to be successful. The author, of course, makes it clear to check with your physician first if you have any health issues. This book will serve as a useful reference for me in the future. I expect to go back and read this book again. I will want to refresh my knowledge of the different types of fasts he discussed. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, so I gave it a 5/5 rating. There weren't any aspects of this book that I didn't like. I liked everything about it, including the editing. I did not notice any spelling or grammatical errors. I would recommend this book to others. I enjoyed learning about fasting, especially the spiritual connection, and I think others would enjoy this as well.
