Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
Snatched up to Heaven! is a charming Christian book penned by Jemima Paul, Ph.D. in Christian Education, and her spouse, Arvind Paul. Originating from Chennai, a city in southern India, they entered into matrimony and relocated to Los Angeles, California, where they established a joyous family. At the time of the book's composition, they were blessed with two daughters: Priyanka and Deepika.
In their book Snatched Up to Heaven!, Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul are dedicated to faithfully sharing their children's heavenly dreams. Beyond merely describing the dreams, the authors have conscientiously integrated sections for interpreting them. Priyanka's dreams began in 2011 and were meticulously documented by her parents. Notably, Priyanka has also shared her experiences in Heaven through YouTube videos, where she vividly recounts the surroundings and the individuals she encountered in Heaven, often drawing comparisons with Hell, which she observed from a distance. These dreams sometimes involve the entire family; sometimes, it's just Priyanka and her sister. The author has thoughtfully included interpretation segments that connect these dreams with relevant passages from the Scriptures.
The author skillfully distinguishes between a vision and a dream, simplifying the intended message for the readers. This is just one of the numerous aspects I found highly commendable about this book. The vivid depiction of heaven within the book captured my interest, and in comparison to my prior exposure to descriptions of heaven, this book is truly unique. As I perused the book, Jemima and Arvind thoughtfully inserted Bible verses, a feature that I particularly appreciated. This addition encouraged me to draw parallels between elements of the narrative and the Bible, which I believe was enriching.
There were no aspects of this book that I found displeasing. Upon my evaluation, I found it to be professionally edited, as I found few errors, and I admired the author's adeptness in presenting the material in a reader-friendly manner.
I wholeheartedly bestow Snatched Up to Heaven! with a 5 out of 5 stars rating. I strongly recommend it to anyone intrigued by exploring eternal destinies and seeking inspiration from personal testimonies. The book's intended audience predominantly comprises Christians or individuals interested in Christianity and the afterlife. It is a work deeply rooted in Christian perspectives and firmly grounded in biblical teachings.
