Upon seeing the title of the book, 'The Smartest Person in the Room,' I initially thought it would be another 'computer book' or 'technical book' for geeks. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it caters to a wide audience. It offers a comprehensive perspective on life in general. The insights provided are not only valuable for those already familiar with computers or the technical world but can be applied across various fields such as law, politics, medicine, and more. I sincerely wish I had come across this book when I first embarked on my bachelor studies and career path. It would have provided me with a better understanding of what a career entails, how to make the right choices, and how to avoid unnecessarily complicating one's life. After reading this book, I feel that I have gained a deeper understanding of life and have learned valuable tips and tricks not only for myself, but also to help others. Because, ultimately, that's what this book is about – 'people.' The title, 'The Smartest Person in the Room,' signifies the importance of not just striving to be the smartest individual, but also helping others so that everyone can grow together. Espinosa's writing is clear, straightforward, and easily comprehensible. Most importantly, it motivates you to act. I eagerly look forward to the possibility of another book from the author. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and give it a 5 out of 5 rating. It's the kind of book that, once finished, you feel compelled to read all over again, just to ensure you haven't missed any details or specific advice. Additionally, I appreciate that you can start reading it from any chapter and it still makes perfect sense.
I like this book because it's like a guidebook to improve my life. It's a step-to-step way to be better and to seek constant growth. I like the writing style of the author; it resonates with me a lot.
I did not find anything bad about this book thus my review. The book is clear and straight to the point, very practical. I like the fact that you can see yourself applying these concepts before doing it, it's not just theory that is the main point.
