Review of Scale at Speed

Scale at Speed by Felix Velarde is a book that embodies the experience and expertise of the author's career as a leader in various businesses spanning twenty-five years. It contains a strategic road map to growing one's company within defined periods by applying proven methods.
The book begins with an introduction to the roadmap, which was subsequently detailed in the 10-chapter book. The author delves into the importance of delegating duties. The reward factor as an incentive for staff is appropriately highlighted. It further explains the strategies to achieve customer satisfaction and techniques to generate maximum output for both the start-up and the customers. Felix Velarde points out that to achieve the goals of a company, it has to learn to navigate through its strengths and weaknesses in order to maximise opportunities and limit threats while identifying expertise. Using his established programme, the 2Y3X roadmap, he takes upscaling to a whole new level.
I love that this book is reliable because it emanates from Felix Velarde's vast career as a leader of various businesses. It combines all his experiences, trials, errors, and results into this book. I also love the author's adoption of practical illustrations. These illustrations pave the way for a better understanding of the information being passed. It also enables greater clarity. I also appreciate his honesty in admitting that he got help, referencing his guides and mentors, including the books he read at each stage of uncertainty in his growth. This resonates with the subliminal theme of the book: that you do not have to do it alone. Finally, it is quite commendable how he concludes each chapter with monthly and quarterly to-do tasks broken down for easy execution. For any rising entrepreneur confused as to what to do next, this book comes highly recommended.
I found no negative aspects while reviewing this book. I can boldly say that this is the best start-up book I've read so far.
I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Although I found a few errors in the book, they were not sufficient to deduct a star.
