Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a practical guide with a focus on planning for your future, finding fulfillment in your career, and enjoying life before retirement. While the ideal audience is suggested to be in the age range of 40-50, I must admit that even though I'm a 21-year-old, this book resonated with me.

I have a keen interest in investing, and I firmly believe that more young people should start investing early. Reconfigurement touches on various aspects that I found valuable, including career testing, investment strategies, life protection, and financial planning tools like 401K, IRA, and social security. It provides insightful advice on how to navigate these crucial aspects of life, and it's not limited to a specific age group.

What I appreciated most about the book is that it managed to convey these financial and career planning concepts in a clear and understandable way. The language used is accessible and relatable, making it easy for readers to grasp the concepts, regardless of their age or prior knowledge. It's like having a conversation with a knowledgeable friend who's guiding you through these complex topics.

One notable aspect that stood out to me was the impeccable editing. I found no typos or errors throughout the book, which significantly contributed to a smooth and enjoyable reading experience.

However, there were a few areas where Reconfigurement could be improved. While the book covers a wide range of topics, there were moments when I wished for even more depth, especially in the investment section. Given that I'm particularly interested in this area, I craved a deeper exploration. Additionally, it might benefit from some real-life examples or case studies to illustrate the concepts presented.

In conclusion, Reconfigurement is a valuable resource for anyone looking to take control of their financial future and career. It offers practical advice in an accessible manner. While there's room for more in-depth exploration and a bit of editing refinement, it's a book that can benefit readers of various ages and financial backgrounds. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
