Review of Gardening In Small Spaces

I always have this neighbour of mine who, immediately after she comes back from work, takes a mat to one corner of her garden, which was very fruitful, and lays it down there. Aside from having a garden for planting activities, there are other benefits to having a garden. This woman is always happy, and I realise that this was her way of communicating with the earth. Gardening in Small Spaces by Tom Greenway is another book that has made me appreciate gardens, and I can't wait to gain enough knowledge from it.
It's been the desire of many to own a garden, but they haven't started one because of a lack of space. How about I tell you that you can establish a garden indoors, in courtyards, apartments, condos, and balconies? Yes, and I mean it. You just need to gain knowledge of it, which is the basic purpose of this book. There are things to consider when trying to establish a garden in a confined space, for example, sunlight, wind, water, etc. These considerations are vital to the growth of your plants. In a confined-space garden, you need to plant what's important to you and your family. This is because you're trying to maximise space, and you wouldn't want to use the little space for an unnecessary plant. Now the question is: how do we establish this congested space garden? You have it at your fingertips; just get a copy of this book and start implementing.
First of all, I cannot help but appreciate deeply the organisation of this book. It's been one of my easiest and most charming reads so far. This is a very practical book, and such organisation is needed for easy implementation. The audience of this book is basically beginners on the subject being talked about. So I was looking forward to a very foundational introduction, and that was how the book started. This implies that the author has his audience at heart while writing, which is very vital. Also, the title of the book matches the cover page. When the word garden comes to mind, the colour green is the one to look out for, and that was basically the colour of the cover page. In terms of the lessons, they were very straightforward and written in the easiest possible way, which makes them suitable for anyone. I didn't find any errors while reading, which shows that the book was properly edited.
The use of pictures in this book would have made it easier to grasp the lessons, as it would help readers visualise what a particular thing is. This is the only thing that is lacking in this book. It's not enough to deduct any stars. Hence, I would rate this book five out of five stars. I would also recommend this book to those who are interested in establishing a grade and who love reading about agriculture.
