Are you struggling to let go? Or managing your anger? Maybe you are always late and rushing when getting your coffee. Is managing money something you need help with? Maybe you feel like you do not need help on any of those topics; you are doing great as you are, but sometimes we only realize how much we can benefit from another perspective, some advice, or some wisdom that comes from experience after opening our minds and accepting help. Wisdom by Arun Mago is an enlightening book that discusses several topics about life that will allow the reader to not only change the way they see certain things about life but also to do a self-assessment of their reactions to external factors to improve their life. The author made a compilation of ideas, posts, and discussions about topics like emotions, beauty, money, and family, among others, and reading it will, without a doubt, spark thoughts and conversations that can guide the reader into a better approach to life.

This is a short book, but that does not mean is incomplete. Being short and clear is something I enjoy, since most of the time, authors trying to motivate, inspire, or share a different perspective end up failing to explain what they are saying, and that ends with an overwhelmed reader incapable of understanding the author. Arun Mago’s Wisdom perfectly avoids this problem; his original use of mnemonics, motivational quotes, his experiences, and a paternal writing style explains each topic in a flawless and concise way that allows the reader to understand and reflect on what the author meant. It feels like getting life lessons from a father, an uncle, or a friend. I hope that the reader will be able to resonate with most of the ideas the author shares because they have an amazing perspective on life and give incredible advice on how to improve relationships and lifestyles. For example, the author gives examples and explains the negative impacts that being impatient causes and reading about them can provide the reader with new perspectives, tools, and resources to approach the situations that typically make them impatient.

Overall, I give Wisdom a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Despite being a collection of posts previously made by the author, it was professionally edited, as I only found one punctuation mistake, but in the chapter about patience, the author forgot to delete the ending where he asks readers to like his post. There is nothing negative I can say about this book; it is original, well-written, simple, and educational.

I recommend this book to readers who enjoy motivational and philosophical books. I also recommend it to parents, since this could be an educational guide for teenagers.
