In Alpha Diaries author Khayree Beckem argues that in today’s society, men have lost their way within their households. Men have forgotten that they have a critical role to play in establishing functional and prosperous relationships with women. The author proposes that men need to take back their charge and be leaders in romantic and professional spheres. Men should not fall victim to being dominated by women and society. This book aims to reinstate men in the top positions within society and set their priorities straight.

The author’s views in this book are not just archaic or patriarchal, but also derogatory and demeaning. Throughout the book the author has spewed poison against women, reducing them to a level of mere objects whose role in society is pleasing men. The book seems to have been written by someone who has been terribly wronged by some woman. But no amount of consideration can justify the hatred the author has shown against women in the book.

There was nothing that I liked about the book. There is heavy profanity and extremely vulgar language used. The author has portrayed women as sexual objects that need to be kept under control at all times. Beckem uses filthy language to talk about women and maintains that every woman is manipulative, promiscuous, disrespectful, and incapable of functioning without the support of a man.

I cannot rate the book more than 1 out of 5 stars. The book is written in extremely poor taste, and as a woman, I felt offended by every chapter I read. The last few chapters of the book are the worst and I had to force myself to complete reading the book. The one star that I am giving is for the fact that the book is professionally edited with no grammatical errors.

I do not recommend this book at all to any reader. For women, the book is highly offensive. For men, the book is misguiding. No one needs to be a feminist to dislike this book. Men who believe in gender equality will not agree with the content of this book.

I don't like the author's attitude toward women but thanks for the review.
