The Way of the Goddess by Amanda Ahern is a guide to understanding and getting to know the goddess in all her glorious might. It's an open invitation to meet the goddess inside you. Come on this mystical, magical, and extraordinary journey, where you will be introduced to 12 goddesses whose help will bring out the best in you and transform your less-than-desirable traits.

The Way of the Goddess can help you reclaim lost parts of your divine feminine nature. Read this book and practice the activities with a curious mind and an open heart. You may be amazed at how beautiful, extraordinary, and powerful you are.

I affirm that The Way of the Goddess is helpful. It introduced me to a world I had always assumed was legendary and never dreamed I could experience. My understanding of the goddesses was limited before reading the book, as I thought having a personal encounter with them was impossible. However, my perspective on the subject was altered after finishing the book. I was first given a thorough education about the goddesses and the experiences that people have had with them. After briefly reciting some of the mantras found in the book, I had a brief encounter with a couple of the goddesses. It was such a surreal experience.

I compliment the author's writing style. Her writing style is so straightforward yet incredibly detailed that it keeps the reader engrossed and makes it easy to understand the book. The goddess is a complex subject to comprehend at first. However, Amanda made it understandable enough that readers would thoroughly comprehend the subject even after just one introduction. Furthermore, by highlighting a specific area of our lives in which the goddesses could be especially helpful, the author connected them to the reader on a more personal level. I discovered that the attributes of Goddess Sita resonated the most with me because of her knowledge and experience of giving love, not being fully appreciated for it, and then departing when she had had enough. It seemed like what I went through recently, which was feeling undervalued when I gave my all to someone I loved. Reading about Sita and asking for her assistance gave me the clarity and fortitude I needed to move on.

In addition, the images of the goddesses were beneficial; they helped me understand the general appearance of the goddesses, most of whom I had no prior awareness of until I read the book. I also enjoyed practicing a couple of "Devata Doodles."

I enjoyed reading and experiencing The Way of the Goddess. My only criticism is that the book has several mistakes, and I recommend having it professionally edited. Other than that, I have almost no problems with it. I rate the book four out of five stars, deducting one star because of the number of mistakes. If you have an interest in goddesses, especially ones of Indian origin, and also seek ways to explore your femininity, I recommend this book to you.
