The Misadventures of Bus 94 is a collection of short stories and daily scriptures by Samuel Thomas Mullis. He designed this book as a devotional by keeping the stories very short, precise, and to the point. At the end of each chapter, he includes a moral question and answers it with scriptures. All the stories are about the encounters he has had in his years as a school bus driver. He also included a few stories about the adventures of fellow bus drivers.

Mr. Mullis designed this book to be enjoyed by anyone above 15 years. However, I feel this book can also be a great teaching tool for younger ones. This is because most stories include children behaving poorly towards each other or towards the bus driver, followed by repercussions later. The children will be able to identify how their behavior potentially affects those around them and what God's word says about it. For example, Jinny and Tony got busted and later brought to book after littering the bus and denying it. The bus driver was stern but fair when dealing with the students to ensure inappropriate behaviors ceased. The stories have very relatable moral lessons of resilience, diligence, and professionalism, even in the face of adversity. The author believes that other bus drivers will also resonate with the stories because the happenings in a bus are timeless and very similar across the board.

This book has an exceptional concept that I love, especially as a Christian. I treasured everything about the short stories as they were witty, humorous, and, at times, nerve-wracking. I relished Koolaid's story; he was huge but gentle, which earned him the title Teddy Bear, a perfect illustration of gentleness. However, the book is riddled with a plethora of errors. I believe a round of professional editing will give this book the justice it deserves to be named among the greats.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I would have loved to give it a perfect score; unfortunately, the errors bugged me. But I believe they will be corrected, and the book will stand out. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a devotional with quick stories and scriptural references. I also believe school bus drivers will find this book very relatable.

A good book for the young. Our behaviors affect those around us. Thanks for the review.

This collection of stories would really have a lot to offer readers and I also like the idea of putting questions at the end of each story as it makes for an interactive section.
