The Making, the Rise, and the Future of the Speakingman: Fourth Edition by Dan M. Mrejeru talks about the complex nature and processes of human evolution. It talks about subjects like neuroscience and geomagnetism.

The Making, the Rise, and the Future of the Speakingman: Fourth Edition by Dan M. Mrejeru talks about the evolution of the human brain. It discusses several events that played a crucial role in shaping its architecture. Divided into six parts, the book covers topics such as bipedalism, the emergence of Homo sapiens, the rise of Homo loquens, fault lines influencing migrations, neurogenesis, and the future of human consciousness. It talks about the relationship between cycles, geomagnetic excursions, and brain development over thousands of years. It also contemplates the consequences of modern advancements, including technology and societal changes, on the human brain and potential challenges for the future. Get this book today and enjoy an in-depth analysis of all the topics covered in it.

I was fascinated to learn many things about the past and the events and conditions that may have brought about evolution. I only had a shallow scientific knowledge or idea about how the evolution of the human brain came about, but this book critically discusses it, starting from what I can say are the earlier parts of evolution and also going on to discuss the future. I also liked how the book discussed the complexities of consciousness and dimensions. The detailed explanation of bipedalism, brain evolution, and the impact of environmental changes shows that the author has very good knowledge about all that was talked about in the book. The inclusion of studies by various scholars made the book very credible and showed that it was well-researched.

I have a few dislikes about this book, or more appropriately, comments on how the book can be better improved so that it can attain perfection. While the fourth edition of this book introduced additional chapters and provided a more comprehensive overview, the use of a monotonous tone throughout the book made reading the book very complex and tedious for me, especially with the lengthy page numbers. It is better to use a more compelling tone to make sure readers do not get lost in the subjects being discussed. Additionally, the absence of a separate page for references or a works cited section is a negative aspect for me. While the book acknowledges the works of other authors by mentioning their names, dates, titles of their articles, and even DOI numbers, having a dedicated page for references enhances the reader's ability to further explore the scholarly foundations. The author also mentioned in the beginning that the articles used were uploaded to academia.edu. However, a separate reference page in this book will ensure that after reading the book, the reader can just easily go to the references page instead of browsing through the entire book.

I did not find any errors in this book. It was exceptionally edited. I loved many things about this book, and it made me acquire more scientific knowledge; however, my dislikes mentioned above warrant me to deduct one star from my overall rating. Therefore, I am rating The Making, the Rise, and the Future of the Speakingman: Fourth Edition by Dan M. Mrejeru 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to people who like subjects in anthropology, archaeology, biology, physics, and so on. Put simply, I recommend this book to individuals interested in the scientific explanation of evolution.
