Uplift: 12 minutes to more joy, faith, peace, kindness, and vitality is a great book. Susan does an outstanding job of creating simple techniques that you can use to lower your stress levels. Susan gives healthy diet tips for calming the mind and body such as herbal teas. In the book, Susan adds questions to raise awareness on how we are managing our stress. I enjoyed how she had answers for living a balanced life. One of my favorite parts in the book is when she said the body reflects the mind and the mind reflects the spirit. What caught my attention when reading this book is that her techniques could be applied within twelve minutes. It's an easy book to read. Also what I liked about the book is that anyone of any age can use the information in her book to live a harmonious and peaceful life. Susan focuses on physical exercise, proper diet, time in nature, high thinking, simple living, and heartfelt prayer to combine a powerful yet simple practice that is very beneficial to one's well-being. As a person that is into personal development, this is a powerful book. This book uplifts you spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. I highly recommend this book especially for anyone who is looking for personal growth in all areas of their life.
