Review of Sins of Henry County
Despite being found guilty twice for the murder of two persons, some people believed Jerry Banks was innocent and was wrongfully condemned. Jerry Banks' guilt or innocence was addressed in Sins of Henry County, which provided specific information about the private inquiry into this murder case.
Following years of silence, Charles L. Sargent decided to voice his belief that Jerry Banks was not guilty of the crime for which he was found guilty. His investigations and study of Jerry Banks' case and the reasons he believed he was innocent were explained in Sins of Henry County.
Considering that Sins of Henry County was non-fiction, it was incredibly detailed and captivating. Charles L. Sargent masterfully crafted the book's sentences to pique the reader's interest. I was captivated from the outset when the author explained the inspiration behind the book, and I couldn't wait to dive deeper into the narrative. I never got tired of reading the book since it was so engaging.
The book's extensive detail was endearing and was one of its main features. When presenting the details of the story's motivation, the author was thorough. He took the time to research and investigate the basics of the story. He also provided accurate information on Jerry Banks' case, including information gleaned from Jerry's relatives and court transcripts. More so, some information provided here was previously unknown, including details that eluded law enforcement officials until the author made his investigations. It made the story authentic and helped me understand the case better.
In addition to being thorough, the author included helpful photographs. The pictures contributed to my understanding of the case by giving me a visual comprehension of specific details, like the blood pools at the murder scene, which were discussed concerning the case.
The book is professionally edited, and there is nothing I dislike. Therefore, I give it a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. If you enjoy reading actual crime books, I recommend this book as you'll find it enjoyable.

Your review reads like something that should be in the mystery/crime genre rather than non-fiction! I was shocked to read that this person was found guilty twice for these murders, that is an interesting aspect to this story. I can also appreciate the title of this book better now that I know what it is about. I think I would get into a book like this, especially with the photos and court transcripts. I enjoyed reading your review, thanks so much for sharing it with us!
