How to Do More for the Environment with a Little Help from Science by Luísa Borges is a comprehensive guide rooted in the author's observations and experiences. Borges emphasizes the need for collective environmental responsibility, offering practical advice on reducing carbon footprints. Driven by scientific evidence, the narrative unfolds through relatable stories, making it a valuable resource for individuals seeking actionable steps to contribute positively to the environment.

I learned a great deal while reading this book, and I believe many people unknowingly engage in activities that degrade the ecosystem due to a lack of knowledge about the long-term effects on their health and the environment. The tips outlined in this book can be a significant game-changer for those who diligently incorporate them into their lives, improving overall health and helping save costs.

There were a lot of things I liked about this book. Despite numerous scientific terms, which might be challenging for those outside the field of sciences to relate to, the author successfully broke down these explanations into simple terms everyone could understand. The inclusion of pictures and illustrations further aided in clarifying the author's points. I particularly enjoyed every "Jonathan and Joanna" story, which I always looked forward to reading in the book. The references for further reading were very much needed, as many would not agree until they saw proof for themselves.

I couldn't find anything to dislike about this book; it was short, enlightening, entertaining, engaging, and straight to the point. I also didn't come across any grammatical errors while reading through this book. This means this book was exceptionally well edited.

Without hesitation, I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This is because I believe this book, when read by anyone, has the ability to cause a change in people's mindsets. This book will teach readers to learn about doing more for the environment, either by being told by a reader or simply by observing and admiring the lifestyle of someone who has read it and is practicing the tips given by the author. I believe it has the potential to influence mindsets and prompt positive change in environmental practices.

I recommend this book to everyone capable of reading and comprehending, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to make a significant positive impact on the environment. It is particularly suitable for individuals interested in sustainable living, mindful consumption, and practical steps towards environmental stewardship.
