If you are an entrepreneur, a business owner, or a freelancer, you have heard the term niching innumerable times. Niching is targeting a certain segment of customers by offering expert services in a select field. This book elaborates on the pros and cons of niching. In the introductory part itself, the author has nailed the edge niching entails with a successful example of his own.

The book consists of eight chapters wherein all aspects of niching have been considerably covered. Niching is a double-edged sword; it has both advantages and disadvantages, but the positives definitely outweigh the negative aspects. The misconception is that by mastering a single segment, you are inclined to say no to other opportunities. The book tells us how to turn this notion in our favor.

I have always wondered how niching up can widen our opportunities when the term itself means otherwise. By shrinking our market, we would have less opportunity to make money. By using his own experience as an example, the author has tried to change this perception.

The author has captured accurately the fear and reluctance in the minds of people when they hear the term niche. With simple daily life examples, he has tried to change our perspective and approach towards niching and how it can benefit us.

One thing the author has emphasized in the book is that nothing comes out of luck, and behind every success story, there is relentless hard work, resilience, determination, and time dedication.

The author has used his own business experience as a case study, thus giving readers an idea of how niching up can elevate our business. Those interested in learning should definitely go for this book to get an in-depth idea of what they are getting into.

The book was proofread professionally; hence, no mistakes were made. As there is nothing to dislike in this book, I give it a 5 out of 5 rating. This book is suitable for all readers, mainly those who are trying to figure out their area of expertise.

Thank you for your informational review. I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much. I agree it was written very well and it's fantastic that it was edited so well. I'm sure that those who enjoy this genre will be glad to read this book. As science fiction and fantasy are not genres I care for or understand well, I will pass on this book.
