How do you feel when someone tries to sell a product without thinking about whether you need it or not? How do you feel when someone tries to help you, even if they get nothing in return? Karmic Selling follows Stan Gwizdak’s approach to sales by being genuine, a good person, and creating more connections than sales pitches. This method takes a modern and positive approach to the sales world, where instead of selling for numbers, you are creating relationships and growing your circle in a way that everyone gets benefits from and is comfortable with.

After being involved in an accident that changed his whole life, Stan Gwizdak decided to use this new life opportunity to live in a more fulfilling way, dropping the rude salesperson's mask and starting to be authentic—to him and his clients. Getting away from the traditional corporate world was not easy, but this new approach has, without doubt, been beneficial to him, his family, and his “business friends." What is more important in business than gaining trust?

From the beginning, I knew this was going to be an amazing book when the author said, “You don’t have to be in sales to get value out of this book.” Throughout the book, Gwizdak shares pieces of advice on how to connect with people, either in a personal or professional setting, how to approach them, and how to follow up on potential business meetings. The book also shares some case studies and real-life experiences that help the reader understand not only what the author is saying but also how to apply it and trust the method. One of the things I love most about this book is found at the very end: a handwritten thank-you note and the question, “How can I help you?" I believe that this shows how sincere and trustworthy the author is, inviting every reader to reach out and allow him to help however way he can.

The only negative thing I can say about Karmic Selling is related to its editing. The book has some errors that could have been avoided, but they do not affect the overall reading experience.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. While it does have some errors, there were less than ten, and as I have said, those errors do not affect the reading experience or the message the author is sharing.

I recommend this book to readers trying to make it in the business world, those who work or want to work in marketing or consulting, and overall, anyone struggling to get past the first business meeting.
