I could not put this book down!!! I read it in one sitting because not only did the content speak to me as a business owner/consultant but it also reaffirms what I have been telling my clients for years. Niching Up is an absolute must read for anyone seeking to really stand out in their industry and quite honestly stop spinning their wheels in trying to be the best at everything.

The author's goal was to 'change the narrative on niching from being about scarcity to having an abundance mindset. Niching is not restrictive; it provides opportunity.' And he surely accomplished this. One of my favorite points was how he elaborated on the fact that minimizing your market through niching does not mean lessening your profits. Really having an understanding of this is critical and I think takes away the fear of that scarcity mindset. I also appreciate how he explained how offering referrals to competitors can be done both strategically and efficiently which most people tend to stray away from. I also respected his humble beginnings story of double chin marketing and how although he created 80 other sites he wasn't as successful as this one because he didn't have that same passion, tunnel vision and focus.

I love the smooth and effortless transitions from looking at niching from a con and pro perspective all the way to understanding how to charge premium rates, gaining referrals and even giving referrals and efficiency. There are so many nuggets that you can apply to your business and can help you elevate your mindset as it deals with providing true value to your customer base. And I absolutely loved the way he incorporated various quotes from well known and impactful authors while also gleaning from his own personal experience. And the witty commentary and metaphors had me entertained throughout the book from Star Wars to the infamous Michael Scott of Dundler Mifflin!!

I would give this an acclaimed 5 out of 5 stars and not only will read it again but will point my clients to it who need further guidance on niching up in their businesses.

Great work Chris!
