With a novel approach to the mental and physical components of the game, Kalliope Barlis's Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book is a small yet effective manual that promises to improve your game. Recognised for her proficiency in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Barlis offers a novel viewpoint to the field of golf teaching.

The book's strength is its balance of comprehensiveness and conciseness. Barlis gives readers a comprehensive strategy for raising their game by skillfully fusing insights into the psychology of golf. Because of the language's accessibility, both novices and experienced players wishing to improve their skills can benefit from it. The emphasis on the mental game is one of the most notable aspects. Barlis explores the concept of mentality and how small mental adjustments may have a big influence on how well a player performs on the golf course.

The physical aspects of the game are also covered in the book, with detailed instructions on basic tactics and strategies. From stance and grip to swing mechanics, Barlis offers helpful guidance supported by pictures that help visualise proper execution of each movement. Unlike other golf training books, Play Golf Better Faster has a dual focus on the mind-body relationship. Because of the author's captivating writing style, golf lovers will find it enjoyable to read. Barlis makes the ideas in the book approachable and simple to implement by peppering it with stories and real-world situations. The conversational style gives the book a more intimate feel, giving readers the impression that they are being guided through the pages by an experienced and encouraging coach.

Although, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) strategies for mental enhancement are included in the book, I think the usefulness of these strategies might vary, and not every reader will find this method to be uplifting or equally beneficial. While some people may benefit greatly from the suggested mental changes, others might not see the same degree of progress.

As far as editing is concerned, the book is professionally edited, as I didn't find a single error, and all things considered, I would happily give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
