When reading Why God Allows Evil and Suffering, the book answered all the questions I had in my mind about this topic. The book referenced all the important sources as well as the scriptures. It explained the qualities of God. That God is all-powerful, loving, just and wise. The second part focused on humans relationship with God. The book was knowledgeable and captivating. I read it in one sitting and couldn't keep it down.

First, I love that the author saw fit to title this book Why God Allows Evil and Suffering because the answers are in the book. The author goes to great lengths to answer this question, even explaining why other alternative answers are incorrect. However, the author did not discuss why do we, as humans, associate death with pain instead of a positive feeling such as happiness. Secondly, the author inserted rhetorical questions in the book, challenging the reader to ask themselves these questions. This creates a mind map for how the author arrived at the answers and conclusion. I also want to commend how the author uses science, philosophy and logic, as well as faith to answer these important questions. It is both creative and analytical. I believe the author exhausted all possible answers to these important questions.

Holding the above in mind, I would rate this book 5/5 stars. It was well written and had no grammatical errors. The book was well structured and paragraphs flowed smoothly from one chapter to the next. The author begins by defining the terms for us, explaining the events that occurred leading us to this reality and how it was redeemed. In addition, the book explains that the prerequisite for love is faith and continues to list the factors that make love. This can appeal to both believers and non believers. I must say, the book was very thought-provoking and interesting.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book because it was easy to read. I would recommend this book to anyone who wonders why God allows evil and suffering to happen and must expect to get answers to many more questions.
