Authenticity, integrity, and kindness are highly rated values for building lasting relationships in business and life. Having all these values incorporated with the idea of providing help to others, Stan Gwizdak discusses how he built his career from these principles and lays out guidelines to do the same in his book, Karmic Selling: Earning Business by Earning Trust.

Having spent decades and experienced disappointments in the corporate world trapped in a rat race trying to climb a ladder to success where everyone takes, takes, takes without giving, Stan felt the need to change. A life-threatening car wreck was a game changer in his life, and he decided to quit the corporate world and start his consulting firm. In his own business, Stan prioritized authentic connection, kindness, and doing good to others with a "However I Can Help" mindset. He referred to this approach that brought success to his career as karmic selling. He takes us through his approach and principles of karmic selling and what they have brought to his career and life.

I like that Stan is trying to spread the message of helping others, approaching situations with a clean heart, and how authentic human connection can bring. His tone and openness to share his life experiences portray that he's born with a clean heart; he's genuinely authentic, humble, and a man of integrity committed to serving others, which is immensely admirable. The case studies, reflection exercises, and motivational quotes are the most substantial aspects I enjoyed and loved in the book. The case studies provided testimonies to prove how each of them worked out. The reflection exercises allow readers to ponder suggestions, create ideas, and apply them to their circumstances. Motivational quotes acted as interludes, preparing readers for the next chapter after the preceding chapter and retaining their attention and focus.

The book extends to interactions with people and building long-lasting friendships in life. I loved the entire chapter of the book. The author's message in every chapter was clear, simple, and straightforward, with examples to prove how it worked out. From Stan's life, readers can get a clear view of the fruits and value of living authentically, doing good to others, and having a clean heart.

The book was professionally edited, as I noticed a few errors. I rate Karmic Selling 5 out of 5 stars. Its incredible insights, engaging content, and richness in valuable lessons to help us improve in every aspect of our lives, not just in business, satisfied me. Therefore, I couldn't give it a lower rating. I recommend this book to business professionals and everyone seeking to approach situations with a clean heart and live authentically.
