Review of Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book
“Access the knowledge already within you to play great golf.”
—KALLIOPE
Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book is written by Kalliope Barlis. This book is a step-by-step guide to totally improving your golf game. This book has been divided into three sections and contains 146 pages.
Part one: "Using Your Brain"
Part two: "Practicing Golf"
Part three: "Playing Golf"
This book's first section offers exercises designed to help you use your intellect as efficiently as possible, shot per shot. She includes practicing tactics in the second section. According to the author, those who consistently engage in the same activities tend to retain their experiences, while those who try new things tend to pick up the most knowledge and develop as a result. She clarified the purpose of playing golf in the third section. The object of the game is to put the ball in the hole with the fewest number of strokes possible. Make a strategy for putting the ball in the hole, that's how golf is played. The keys to becoming a great golfer are the subject of this book, instead of just mechanics.
The NLP program has been outlined by the author. According to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), everyone has the capacity to change for the better because we all have the tools necessary to do so. And our thoughts are where transformation starts and continues. NLP helps us become more conscious of our thoughts when we use our five senses to perceive the world: taste, smell, hearing, touch, and sight. The goal of incorporating NLP into your game is to sharpen your cognitive abilities across all senses, not just vision, so that every time you play, shot by shot, your performance will increase significantly. She gave tips on how to take better shots.
Along with the experience she acquired from coaching thousands of students over two decades, the author discusses all the strategies she employed to go from never playing to being a professional player in just two years. "Play-Golf-Better-Faster-From-Weekend-Golfer-to-Pro-Golfer-in-Two-Years" is the book by the author that I also reviewed. There are also certain analogies. You’ll learn how to eliminate negative behaviors, cultivate a positive mindset on and off the course, anchor great shots so you can practice them more, and eliminate bad shots from your memory.
I enjoyed the method of writing used in the book. There were no grammatical errors that I could discover in this book. The final photos in the book did a great job of connecting what the author had spoken together. The book's editing is good, so I'll rate it a five out of five stars. People who wish to study golf should read this book, in my opinion.
