Life is filled with a lot of questions. We could say that life itself is a mystery. Have Faith in God but Believe in the Devil is both a guide and an answer to some questions we may have about God. Does having faith in Christ automatically remove the existence of the devil? Personally, I've had some questions regarding this and I found answers to these questions while reading this book.

The parables of Jesus have always appealed to me for their ability to convey messages through tales. In this book, the author does something similar. The first story, which talked about a test given to a group of Navy Seals, drew me to the book. Somehow, the author managed to talk about the plots of the advocates of the devil in our lives through this story. This is the first positive aspect of the book. Throughout the book, the author uses real-life examples and his personal experiences to buttress his points. Not only are these stories easy to understand, but they are also short. The book's length was one of the reasons I chose to read it, and I was not disappointed. I love it when authors pass across their messages without beating around the bush in a bid to make the book longer.

Glenn R. Thompson touched on various commandments and shared his thoughts about them, supporting his thoughts with some biblical passages. He talks about things like repentance, temptation, rapture, forgiveness, and love. The author does not paint himself as a saint. Instead, he states that he has sinned and committed various sins and he preaches the gift of repentance to us. The inclusion of biblical passages in the book served as a source of reference for readers who may want to know more. Hence, at the beginning of each topic, the author included a statement by Jesus relating to the topic to be discussed.

I was a bit disappointed by the fact that the author's theory about the date of rapture turned out to be inaccurate, even though there was a disclaimer by the author regarding the uncertainty of the theory. There was nothing else to dislike about the book. It was professionally edited, as I found only a few errors. Glenn achieved what he set out to achieve with the book. I loved it. Hence, I rate it five out of five. The issue I mentioned was not enough to warrant the deduction of a star from my rating.

Christians will find enlightening information within the pages of this book. They will appreciate the author's logic and wisdom. People who are uncertain about their faith will also find the book helpful, as the author leaves messages that he hopes will reach them.
