Stan Gwizdak's book Karmic Selling is a self-help book that focuses on helping people navigate a cutthroat industry with a different approach. An accident in the early career years of the author changed the way he viewed things in life, especially the way he dealt with customers, in the beginning of his book. The author decided to change his approach to business. The book delivers several important lessons for making a mark in sales and doing it in an effective yet compassionate way. With this book, salespeople can form connections with their customers, develop rapport, and better understand them.

In this book, the author focused on the notion of karma and how being good and considerate to people will also bring you good fortune. In the sales industry, it's common to want to sell things and earn commissions, especially when starting out and trying to establish yourself. It is common for people to forget that the people they are dealing with are not just customers, but also people with feelings and thoughts as well.

I appreciated the way the author referenced different journal articles to explain different concepts. I found this very helpful. In addition, I enjoyed the fact that the author included case studies of people to support his book's claims and lessons. These were very insightful. The author’s writing style felt conversational and it was easy to follow along. The book was well sectioned and each section was dedicated to different lessons. There were also motivational quotes provided in the book as well.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It was an exceptionally good and insightful read. The book was not only well-written but it was also well-edited. The book contained a lot of good points, and there were a lot of lessons to learn from it as well.

Although its primary focus on the sales industry, I believe this book contains numerous concepts that are applicable to many aspects of daily life, hence I recommend it to everyone. This would also be a wonderful tool for someone just starting out in the sales industry.
