Wow, it's amazing to have started this year reading and discovering a new thing, ADHD. Most parents may not really know what this is all about for their kids and may blame the kids for not being able to act like others. At the end of this book, The Stress-Free Guide to Parenting a Child With ADHD by Regina Michaels, we will know what ADHD means, its symptoms, and how one can manage it.

This book is divided into twelve chapters, which encompass everything we need to know about ADHD. Without the knowledge of a particular thing, we won’t be able to tell if it has a problem or how it operates. Therefore, knowledge of ADHD is the primary tool needed by a parent to parent a child with ADHD. ADHD stands for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. In the book, the author gives the three types of ADHD and what each of them means based on the visible signs. We saw two neurotransmitters in the brain that play a large role in ADHD, which are dopamine and norepinephrine. This is just a brief overview of ADHD. In the book, we will delve into deeper aspects of ADHD, which will equip us to be able to parent our kids living with ADHD easily.

This is a very easy book to understand due to how the topics were broken down and how it flowed. Let’s take, for instance, the book that started with an introduction and then chapter one, which talks about understanding ADHD. With an understanding of it, you can then proceed to the next chapter, which would be easy to understand because you have already grasped the main concept. Another outstanding aspect of this book was the narrative style. The author wrote the book like a professional in the field. It answered most of the questions that would be on the minds of the readers. Also, the English was simple and less ambiguous. The book was also without errors, which shows that it was carefully edited. The book also addresses how a parent would be able to communicate with others about ADHD so they would know how to treat the kids at school and other places.

The pages of the book seem like screenshots or pictures and aren’t clear enough. This should be looked at, as it was the only flaw I observed while reading the book.

I would rate this book five out of five stars. The flaw is minor; hence, it won’t make me rate this book less. I would also recommend this book to parents, school teachers, and therapists.

They say knowledge is power. I am glad to have come across this book and learned about ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). I think when people understand other people's conditions, they will be more disposed to offer assistance.

ADHD? Just like you learned something new, I think I will learn something new too. I've heard this in passing. I don't have an in-depth knowledge of it. It'll be nice to be enlightened by this book.
