“Reconfigurement” by E. Alan Fleischauer book is unlike the self-help books, instead, it is a guide that helps empower the reader to reshape his or her life at all phases, it inspires resilience, scrutiny, and personal advancement while on a journey towards retirement. The book talks about subjects entailing taxes, investment, social security, and economic protection.
The author defines ‘Reconfigurement’ as a phase of planning ahead, especially on matters finances. We are not remaining young forever but we are getting older. As a result, we are focusing more on making much income and end up neglecting how our retirement journey will be. In this book, a number of strategies have been highlighted not restricted to US people, but the information is important to anyone who wants to plan on their retirement through; understanding their income category, insurance, and the best investment choices.
E. Alan Fleischauer’s writing style is top-notch. What makes me adore the book even more, is taking into consideration the subject matter of the entire book containing difficult-to-understand terms, he uses a basic, easy-to-read language while writing. This makes it easy for the reader to understand and follow along easily. Another element is the use of humor in form of jokes, personal reflections, and the thought-provoking questions; personality tests which keeps the reader involved while reading through.
I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars for the information, great humor, and the zeal used in the book. The author is a financial enthusiast, and I would express my gratitude to him for accepting to share this useful information. It is a subject that is not interesting, hence rarely talked about, but he made it simple and indulging. The book has been well edited, hence no errors.
I recommend this book to anyone who is at the age of yet to start working, perhaps age 30 or so. Since, at such age one is mature enough to make better decisions with regards the future. Also, to those in courtship or married, this is a good read to help you plan about your retirement journey. Let’s get reconfigured, endowed, and exhilarated with every page turned on the book, “Reconfigurement” by E. Alan Fleischauer.
