This book was overall very calming and internally healing. I rated it a 5/5.

The overall premise of the book is the concept that by choosing to be or do something, you are inherently choosing to not be or do something else. You have the potential to be anything you want to be but you don’t have the potential to be everything.

The audio recording is of high quality. The author has a beautifully comforting voice which perfectly matches the tone of her writing. Her voice is light, unrushed and unpressured, soft, and safe sounding. Overall these qualities result in a soothing sensation for the readers.

Moreover, in the conversion of this to an audiobook format, the author has included several brief musical compositions in lieu of the artwork in the original text. While it has been many years since I might have considered myself to have any expertise in the areas of music and music theory, simply from a listener’s point of view, the music was excellently paired. Like Neve’s voice it has a soft and comforting quality. It maintains a balance between light tension with appropriate resolutions into uplifting happy melodies in accordance with the themes of the book.

The story is full of beautiful sound bites and quotes with uplifting messages. The entire duality of the title All you’ll never be is well encapsulated in the subtitle, Because of who you are. This overall message was one that I found particularly comforting and healing to my soul. Moreover, the imagery of the forest is a perfect analogy for her purposes.

As a high achieving person, I often have difficulties with the aspects of my life that I remain unable to perfect. However, I found that Neve’s point of view allowed me to see the duality of these qualities in my life and how they can be seen as strengths rather than weaknesses.
