Life is not a bed of roses. We all get to experience the joys and adversities of life one way or another. How you handle what life throws at you determines whether you live happily or not. In The Habit of Mindful Thinking, Terry Keys shows us how to find true happiness amid life's challenges.

Have you ever listened to or read any book by Gary Vaynerchuk (Gary V)? I've followed Gary V for over a decade, and I can hear his voice through the words of Terry Keys. Terry has an uncommon tone that pierces through the heart. He knows how to make you uncomfortable with where you are because he wants you to approach life better. If you don't know how to accept truth served as a somewhat bitter pill, you should avoid this book. However, if you are unafraid to confront the lies you've allowed yourself to grow with, you're welcome to read this book. It will be worth the while.

The book started perfectly. The author began by telling the story of what happened to his son and how he tried to navigate the situation. The story laid the perfect foundation for what the author shared in the book. In addition to having a great start, the delivery was excellent. The author went straight to the point. There were no fluffy statements or unnecessary repetitions. The few times the author repeated things, he did so to emphasize some essential points. However, the repetitions were not overdone.

The only issue I had was with the information on the book's cover. The title on the cover of the book I received was Everyone is Batsh*t Crazy: How to Overcome Adversity and Achieve Success in Life. However, the title in the book's main body was The Habit of Mindful Thinking: New Thoughts. New Habits. New Life. There was an explanation for the title disparity in the foreword (which the author wrote), though. However, the cover should have been modified to capture the book's working title. This title disparity was the only thing I disliked.

The book is exceptionally edited. However, due to the title disparity, I rate it 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to anyone fearless in accepting the truth of what is required to live a happy life.
