"Karmic Selling" by Stan Gwizdak, is a good read for someone like me who started a consultancy business last year and is struggling to get leads. Trying to get new clients has been a bit tough, and this book has some really useful information.

What I appreciate most about the book is its inclusion of sample phrases that can be used to communicate effectively with people. The author goes beyond just providing advice and generously shares his template, along with useful tips and techniques for successful meetings.
This has been especially handy because, as a beginner in business, it can be tricky to figure out the right words sometimes.

The inclusion of case studies and reflection exercises at the end of each chapter is also a great way to apply the lessons learned.

One key takeaway from the book is the importance of expanding my network. It served as a reminder that, currently, I am not actively growing my circle of contacts, which is crucial for the success of my consultancy business. Building relationships and meeting new people is important, and sometimes, we need to remember that amidst our daily work.

What makes this book stand out for me is that it's different from other sales books I've read. It doesn't promote manipulative techniques or false urgency, which is a breath of fresh air. The focus is on genuine communication and building real connections, making it a trustworthy guide for business owners who want to improve their sales skills in a meaningful way.

Overall, the practical insights and actionable advice offered in this book make it a must-read for anyone who is running and growing their own business.

I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5. The advice and examples are easy to understand, making it a practical guide for business owners at any stage.
