Karmic from the title of the book Karmic Selling by Stan Gwizdak, is a word coined from karma. While Karma is widely known to mean what goes around comes around, or you reap what you sow, which can either be good or bad, the term karmic selling focuses on sowing good to reap good.

In this book, the author highlights the many ways that using his however-I- can-help approach has worked for not just his sales career, but also his personal life. He explains how seeking to connect with his clients before selling anything to them has done wonders for his career. He further buttresses his point by saying that genuinely seeking to help his client doesn’t just make him feel good, it has also brought a truckload of help to him over the years.

To prove that his theory works, the author included case studies of people who have either used this same approach or have benefitted from it over the years, in every chapter. This is something I admire the author for because you could see as the reader that he didn’t just want you to take his words for it, he wanted the reader to also hear from others.

Another thing that sold me about this book was how reflection exercises highlighting what the reader has read, were added after every chapter. This shows how much the author is invested in the reader, and how he is trying to impact the reader positively, through this book.

I love the transparent approach the author used in passing his message across. Even though the methods used in this book have been utilized by the author, he still made sure to let the reader know that the choice is theirs and that getting results could take longer than expected.

I had such a great time reading this book that I could not find anything I did not like about it. The book, Karmic Selling by Stan Gwizdak, has taught me so much, and I believe anyone who picks it to read would also have a learning experience because it is educating and enlightening, which is why I am giving it a rating of five out of five stars. Also, one of the reasons I had a smooth reading experience with this book was because I did not notice any error in it, and I am convinced that it was professionally edited.

If you are a business person, salesperson, or someone dealing with people in one way or the other, which I believe is the case for most of us, then you will enjoy reading this book and learn a whole lot from it.
