‘Marijuana Martinis’ by Liv Hamrick is the most popular of the three written by her. It is a guide to cannabis for women. She has extensively mentioned how to use cannabis in a proper way. She herself started using the herb shortly after her surgeries to ease the pain. Since then, she has been an advocate of the herb and its benefits. As people tend to view cannabis in a negative light, this is a much-needed book so that people know its benefits too. She started the book by introducing cannabis and its history and dug deeper, and discussed other various topics like the benefits, problems, stigma around it, etc.

I like that the author discussed various strains and their usage. The best part for me was when she gave recipes. The recipes included a range of items from drinks to baking items. Also, this book mentions the drawbacks of the herb, which gives a good balance to the entire theme.

I could not find anything to dislike about this book because its contents were well thought out. This book gives great insight into the entire topic of cannabis. Liv has arranged the book in a very systematic manner, which makes it an exceptional read.

I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for the reasons mentioned above. This book can help women who are interested in trying the herb but do not have a reliable source for the same. Liv has boldly dealt with a widely stigmatised issue. She has used concise words to tell one everything they need to know. I only found one error, so I'd say the book was well-edited. I would recommend this book to not only those who are new to cannabis but also to its existing users and to those who want to just know what the fuss is about.
