To most people, salespersons are untrustworthy and unreliable. Stan presents a different view and approach to sales. Karmic Selling by Stan Gwizdak, is a book about sales. It details the best way to approach sales and make it work. Everybody has something to sale, it could be a product, a service, or yourself. This book shows the best way to do it. As a child, Stan started selling plant seeds in Carroll Town Pennsylvania his hometown. After graduation from Penn State University, he worked with different companies but was greatly disappointed by the corporate world. Shortly after a car accident in 2004, Stan left the corporate world and started his own consultancy company The Kormac Group. He wanted to help people and connect with them. Karmic selling is all about approaching people with a clean heart, and good intentions and trying to find solutions to their problems. This creates trust and a connection with the person you are meeting. “The key to my success had always been and will always be connection. It’s all about putting other's needs before your own and establishing an authentic rapport with them,” Says the author.

I liked Stan’s approach to selling. Approaching people with a clean heart and however- i- can- help attitude, creates trust, authentic connections, and business and personal friendship which will eventually lead to sales. I also liked the quotations from different scholars and authors, the case studies, and the reflection exercises are all inspiring and enjoyable to read. This book teaches how to approach meetings that lead to genuine connections, and the value of taking notes and follow-ups. It shows how Stan has succeeded in establishing friendships that have helped him grow his business. To the young people especially those from college, Stan’s daughter Ayla is a good example.

There is nothing I disliked about the book. It has a good message, especially to the business community and salespeople which if applied can lead to an increase in sales and business success.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It is professionally well-edited without any errors. It also carries a positive message of being authentic, honest, and trustworthy especially in business dealings which can help people grow their businesses.

I recommend this book to young adults and adults as well. The book has a message for everybody since it shows a positive way of living in society. For entrepreneurs and those in business, sales, and marketing, this book is a must-read.
