Do you like hiking?
Are you crazy about the mountains?
Do you like to travel?
Are you a devotee of Lord Shiva?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, Then this book is for you.

"Inner Trek: A reluctant pilgrim in the Himalayas," by author Mr. Mohan Ranga Rao. He is a businessman and man in Mysore. He is very fond of travelling and hiking.

While the mafia was harassing him to grab his land, at the request of his wife, he made a vow that if he would get rid of this problem, he would circumambulate holy Kailash and take a holy dip in Lake Mansarovar. So, finally, in 2016, he decided to undertake this journey with his wife.

He had already made it clear that he was taking this trip as his new hiking experience and mostly as a physical endurance experience. But for his wife and other travellers, it is not only a religious or spiritual experience; it is also a great divine experience to be close to Lord Shiva.

Climbing to the face of Mount Kailash involves ascending 19000 feet above the mean sea level, and this trek has a history of people dying due to a lack of oxygen. But they have decided. They had made up their minds that they were going to go on this trek.

What started out as a physical experience for the writer turned into a soul experience—we can say self-discovery. Reading This book itself is a journey.

Practically, if you ever want to do the "Kailash Yatra" or "trekking to Kailash" in your life, then this book is a very good travel guide. The author's experiences and photos are well documented in the book, along with the list of vocabulary used in the book.

There are a few grammatical mistakes in this book that are not worthy of attention. So I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
