The book "Are You Love Smart or Love Stupid" discusses the topic of relationships in all their stages. The author, Dr. Rachel Sims, is a marriage and family therapist and is therefore an expert on the subject. In the book, she dispels well-known myths about relationships, dating, and marriage. The book is divided into 9 chapters, with each chapter covering a different stage of a relationship - from dating to marriage.

To begin with, I have to point out that there are not many negatives that I would criticize the book for. I enjoyed the book very much. It was engaging, interesting, and educational. Since it was written by a professional, all the information was presented very objectively and the reader did not feel that he was reading information from only one perspective. It contained many examples from practice, which drew the reader even more into the story. Each chapter made me look forward to new information. The author used simple language which made the book enjoyable to read. Additionally, I must also highlight the perfect editing, as the book contained no errors.

Additionally, in terms of content, I was pleasantly surprised that the author seemed to be on both partners' positions in the relationship throughout. She showed in the book how both the woman and the man can feel in certain situations. This added even more objectivity to the book. Many times with books of this genre, the women simply take the women's side.

It was a useful book. The situations presented in the book were very real. On the other hand, again, it was nothing breathtaking. The book certainly doesn't give you a blueprint for a guaranteed successful relationship (which I assume wasn't its purpose either). It will, however, offer you valuable relationship advice that you can apply whether you are looking for a new partner or to an existing relationship. Despite this, I think the book deserves ratings of 4/4 and 5/5, mainly for its engaging narrative and the good advice presented in the book.
