The great manager is a great book, the author has an attractive method of delivering his ideas.
The author covers most important aspects of the manager job.

Additionally, he mentions that, the bad manager who depend on the authority or control to get his team to do what he want. He discusses how to improve your managerial skills in a detailed description. He see that management is two way communicating.
The author provides new managers with the characteristics of great manager with real and obvious examples. In his view, the great manager should be transparent, empathetic, adaptable, clear communicator, humble, empowering and responsive and finally become a teacher.
He advice managers, don’t jump immediately to solving problems team members present to you, turn it around and help them work through the problem- solving process. The author draws the way for new managers by a small steps and advices. For instance, he advices them by involving their employees in decisions beyond their scope of responsibility, also he talks about the art and science of setting goals
. I adored with the way of illustration, the author studies the relation between performance and trust. He notices that, the manager who is low on performance and trust is both ineffective and can’t be trusted to put their employees or the company interests before their own. The author uses expression of great manager in most of his words. I think this expression is a motivating for the reader. On of his words to be remember is success requires detailed road maps and project plans.
The book includes the ways of interaction between manager and his individuals throughout dialogue. The author has a great way of attracting the reader to complete the book throughout examples and real situations.
The author shows the way to tailoring your management style by studying three factors, competence, confidence and autonomy.
He says that the great manager should capture his individuals hearts and minds, moreover, should dive And get his hands dirty and don't just stand on the slide lines, he should get out in the field and play alongside his team. The book is very interesting and full of precious information not only for managers but also for most of people to gain more skills.
The language of the book is very simple.
I recommend this book and rate it 5 star.
