Cryptocurrency is a concept that has revolutionized how we think about online currency. The transparency and anonymity of cryptocurrency soon propelled it into international focus. Cryptocurrency has evolved rapidly since the first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, was conceptualized and launched by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009. Online resources are abundant at our disposal. Although this makes it easy to learn new things, it also makes it harder to validate the authenticity of such information. Bitcoin Answered by Jon Law is a book written keeping the beginner crypto enthusiast in mind. It is composed in a question-and-answer format while keeping in mind a reader who is new to crypto. Although the book focuses on Bitcoin, it also provides crucial information regarding cryptocurrency as a whole.

I found the question-and-answer format to be more helpful in my comprehension of the subject. The author expertly compiles questions that most likely pop up in one’s mind when one reads about crypto in depth. Such a format might appeal to a bored mind than long passages. The author kept my attention throughout the book as I consumed information question by question. The short and to-the-point answers without too much elaboration also helped to retain my interest in learning a new topic. The author included graphs and diagrams wherever necessary.

There is nothing that I particularly dislike about this book. The order of questions is well arranged, and one can always skip to the question of interest while reading the book. Some answers do not explain a certain concept to the full and instead, refer to a different section of the book. Though it might have been necessary, it was a little cumbersome.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I found no grammatical errors, and the book was meticulous. The amount of information compiled is beneficial to the beginner crypto enthusiast. The book provides references to deepen your knowledge of crypto even further.

I recommend this book to new crypto enthusiasts. Advanced investors will find their interests best served elsewhere as this book is catered to beginners. Furthermore, this book is not to be used as a professional guide but to obtain a basic understanding of Bitcoin.
