Profound Secrets of Jesus and His Inner Circle by Patrick B. Cage is a non-fiction Christian book in which the author details his views on some topics in the Bible. The author discusses his perspectives surrounding the story of Abraham's family, the existence of Jesus Christ, the mental state of Jesus before trial, the role of Judas, Jesus' trial, Jesus' resurrection, the roles of women in the ministry of Jesus, and the life of Paul before and after converting to Christianity. The author backs up his points with excerpts from the Bible and various historical books.

I profoundly enjoyed reading this book. This book offers a lot of hidden information on commonly discussed Bible events. For example, many Christians don't know that the trial of Jesus was against Jewish laws. The author intricately details the rules that the prosecution failed to follow. I liked reading the part where the author discussed the "real villains and heroes of the Bible." I thank the author for adding excerpts from many sources that prove Jesus existed. It shows that the author researched the topic extensively before writing this book.

The author did a good job. He was straight to the point. He didn't add unnecessary information to make the book lengthy. That's why I enjoyed reading the book so much. The book was interesting, and I finished reading it within a few hours.

The book was so excellent that I didn't find anything to dislike. I can't wait to read the author's views on other stories of the Bible.

I found only one minor spelling mistake. The error is not enough for me to deduct points. I give this book a high rating of 5 out of 5 stars. This book deserves a high rating because it is well-edited and offers a lot of information on obscure Bible subjects.

I recommend this book to every Christian who enjoys reading books that offer new insights into events of the Bible. This book will make one question whether Jesus' disciples truly believed in him.
