Review of Wisdom
Arun Mago’s Wisdom is a short handbook of life-living advice wherein the author sheds light on many essential spheres of human life. The book is a short and sweet narrative with lots of quotes that are inspirational and full of wisdom.
In this book, the chapters are very short and subtle, reflecting real-life wisdom. The language used by the author is very simple , therefore it is easy to read and understand. There is no such apparent connection between the chapters of this book because each chapter is rather in the form of a small post, as mentioned by the author. You may not even guess what the next heading will be, unless you read it. However, the headings are interesting and describe aspects interconnected in our daily lives. Arun shares his own opinions and knowledge on the same. So, the overall reading experience is good if you don’t have a story mindset while reading this book. The book rather describes different aspects of our lives, including money, work, family, teachers, nature, friendship, marriage, relations, etc., and many more.
The words of the author are really inspirational and life-changing. You will feel as if you are attending a live session with a motivational speaker. The narrative is highly powerful and magical, too. What I liked the most were the related examples and the fun- touches added to the book. This lets you read the book in one go. Even though the chapters are very brief, the depth of knowledge is quite greater, and the words are power-packed to motivate you in all ways. You will feel like someone wise is giving you some practical advice that has the capacity to transform your lives.
Talking about the interesting thing in the book, the author has mentioned some of the mnemonics of certain words such as money, jobs, dreams, and life, among others. The book is suitable for readers of all ages. I think even teenagers can benefit a lot from this wealth of wisdom.
The book is professionally edited, and it does not contain any typos or errors. This provides you with a smooth and effortless reading experience. Considering the length of the book, the knowledge catered to (in 100+ pages) is worth commendable. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book because I feel it is about the basic things in our lives that we are not focusing our attention on and then complain about our lives not being on track. I could not find any negatives of this book. The book format is also good with nice fonts and legible headings and illustrations/images.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The book is an in-depth narrative of personal opinions, real-life experiences, and some wise quotes that help us grow as human beings. If you are someone who feels stressed out, burned out, frustrated, or confused altogether, this book is sure to offer you bites of wisdom with its sweetly served content. I recommend reading this short yet powerful book at least once.
