Stolen Moments/Momentos Robados by Ernesto Atkinson is a compilation of art, poems, and deep thoughts. In this book, Ernesto uses the arts to explore his emotions and some of the facts and events that happen around us in life. In this book, art became words. Color and image were the languages that were spoken. Grab a copy of this book to enjoy this beautiful artistic compilation.

I had a great time with this book. It contained over forty beautiful and mind-blowing images. These images spoke words, and even without the author’s writing for each of them, one can get the message. I enjoyed the author’s deep thoughts and conversations with “Creativity.” I feel like their conversations were my favorite parts of this book. For instance, his personal statement to Creativity on how the colors of the rainbows were interdependent on each other to exist resonated a lot with me.

While most of the drawings were beautiful, some felt like scribbling, and I did not really like them. However, this does not affect the overall enjoyment of this book because I believe that art is best seen from the artist’s perspective. One notable positive thing about this book is that the author’s write-ups for each image will help the readers see these images from the author’s point of view. These write-ups were not lengthy, but they were filled with wisdom and facts.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of its amazing quality. I must also applaud the artist for the amount of time and effort he put into this work and for being willing to share his art with the world. I found an error in this book. Lovers of art and paintings will fall in love with this book. One fact about this book is that the art in it will lead you on a journey to explore your emotions.

Well done, Abraham!
The greatest part of a writer’s time is spent in reading, in order to write; a man will turn over half a library to make one book.
