My Spouse, my Friend is a Christian book composed by Igiete Oyama to direct couples, newlyweds, engaged, and those long in love on the path to an enduring and blissful marriage, similarly as the lord planned it to be.

The author shared her insight on marriage, relating it to the bible. Ingiete Oyama tells us that marriage was planned by God. It is a bond that brings two people from diverse backgrounds, who are different in personality, upbringing, sometimes culture and orientation together. It was meant to unite just two people, not three or four was implied. Assuming the opposite were to be the situation, she is certain that God, who is almighty and omniscient, would have utilized Adam's different ribs to create more women for him. God is a Divine force of peace. He knew that doing this would just bring about disappointment, disarray, envy and absence of happiness.

She further said that, God's aim behind the foundation of marriage was for the couples to work, live and grow in harmony as a team. The most outstanding aspect of cooperating or being a team is that we value each other more, spend time together and above all, grow deeper in intimacy. Due to human beings' self-centeredness, pride and entitlement, things like men being superior to women and feminism cropped into life. God never planned for one to reign over the other. This association was between two souls focused on the shared objective of simply being available for each other, supplicating and lifting each other up when the need excites.

The author made us to comprehend that marriage isn't a great fit for everybody and on the off chance that you are not sure of your decision to marry and remain so forever, then it is better not to go into it. Our expectation, when we begin thinking about marriage and when we at last get hitched, ought to be that it will be forever, regardless of the storms that may prevail against our marriages, we should take steps to make our marriages work. Conflicts are not intended to break our relationships but to make them stronger. Commitment and permanence should be our goal in marriage.

To find solutions to your long life questions like; For what reason do relationships fall flat? What is the genuine idea of marriage? Why has divorce become a better option? Why have we unexpectedly transformed this association into a joke? This book will fulfill your interest and give you better grasp of marriage. While I appreciated perusing this book, I despise the way the author continues to rehash thoughts which prompted weariness. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars since it provides a wide range of topics, including the spiritual, physical, emotional, monetary and mental aspect of a successful marriage. I honestly commend the writers skill. I didn't find any error while reading. This book was professionally edited.

This book doesn't contain profane words or sex scenes. I prescribe this book to couples, newlyweds, singles and every individual who desire a euphoric and long lasting marriage.

This review effectively highlights Ingiete Oyama's belief in the institution of marriage as was created by God according to the Bible. Marriage is a commitment of 2 people to each other as equals. The title of the book, My Spouse, my friend sums it up in a nutshell. What a nice title! My spouse is my friend. Thank you for this well-written and concise review. :tiphat:

It seems to me that a lot of people share the same beliefs as Ms. Oyama. It is interesting to me to see how different people interpret the Bible and what it says. Thanks!
