I gave “Karmic Selling” by Stan Gwizdak a full 5 out of 5 star rating. This book provides an insightful and authentic look into building meaningful business relationships through kindness and compassion from my perspective.

Gwizdak shares vulnerable stories from his own career journey that demonstrate the power of leading with empathy to me as the reader. From life-changing events to everyday connections, he highlights the value of seeing people as human beings first. His "however-I-can-help" mindset is refreshing in a business context and his commitment to prep work and follow through is admirable in my opinion.

While critical at times of the corporate world, Gwizdak still recognizes that there are good companies and cultures out there. His criticism seems to come from a place of wanting better for both businesses and people, not bitterness. Ultimately, his message around authentic connection resonates with me.

The book layout is clear and organized into easy-to-digest sections from my point of view. The real-life case studies help demonstrate that these ideas can work in tangible ways. The reflection exercises provide useful tools for readers like me to incorporate the concepts into their own lives. Additionally, the flawless editing ensures an exceptionally polished final product based on what I observed.

In terms of weaknesses, there are none that stand out to me as the reader. The book length seems appropriate to convey the key ideas without becoming redundant. Some readers may crave more tactical details, but the broader principles allow room for individual adaptation in my opinion. Others may be skeptical that this approach can work in cutthroat business climates, but the variety of industries represented suggest versatility.

Ideally, Karmic Selling delivers an uplifting and empowering message that most anyone would benefit from based on my assessment. By embracing empathy and compassion, we can transform business and life itself for the better. This book provides guidance for that journey in a genuine, thoughtful, and professionally crafted package. It was probably a delightful read, and I will recommend it any day.
