All You'll Never Be Because of Who You Are" by E.L. Neve is a very short audible book, but it is packed with thought-provoking philosophical musings. The author masterfully takes the listener on a journey through the "forest of 5 thoughts". Each thought guides the listener into contemplative consideration about the paradoxes of life and finding one's passion and path in life.

Neves, in her introduction, explains that this is a book about happiness. She likens our view of the world to a "transposed reflection in the mirror" where we are "focusing on the wrong parts of reality." Through her guidance in this book, the listener begins to see that our attention is fixed too much on the obvious. Neves' five thoughts ask the listener to look at life differently. For example, "When all goes wrong, maybe it's right". The author suggests that we only see what we have seen before. "Crying will only blur our vision to see new things." There are areas of your life you have yet to see, so don't cry. It will only blur your vision.

The author narrates the book with a calm and soothing voice that is perfect for a meditative experience. Her use of simple metaphors of nature helps to guide the listener into a different view of life's complexities. Each chapter ends with a calming melody allowing the listener time to reflect or meditate on the previous chapter's thought.

There is nothing I did not like about this book. The combination of metaphors, soothing narration and calming musical melodies provide a great escape from the chaos of life. This is not only a great listen, but a book that I will keep available to listen to again and again. Based on these reasons, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
