Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a comprehensive guide to retirement planning and life reconfiguration. The author, drawing from his extensive experience as a financial advisor, provides readers with practical advice and strategies for navigating the complexities of retirement planning and self-evaluation.

The book covers a wide range of topics, including career assessments, income protection, disability insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and Social Security programs. The author emphasises the importance of planning ahead and offers valuable insights into long-term investments like mutual funds and government bonds. The book also includes personality tests for readers to engage in, aiding in self-discovery and decision-making.

One of the standout features of this book is the author's use of simple, easy-to-understand language. Despite the complex subject matter, the author explains financial terms and concepts in a clear and concise manner, making them accessible to readers of all ages and backgrounds. Additionally, the inclusion of personality tests adds a unique and interactive element to the book, encouraging readers to reflect on their own goals and values. I won't fail to thank the author for this great book and his efforts in making this  book full of wisdom and knowledge.

Having read this book, I found no errors but had some dislikes, which was not enough to remove a star from this book. The book's focus on American-specific retirement planning may also limit its appeal to a broader audience. Additionally, the lack of chapter titles may make it difficult for readers to navigate the book and find specific information.

I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This is a valuable resource for anyone looking to plan for retirement or reconfigure their life at any stage. The author's practical advice, combined with his engaging writing style, makes this book a must-read for anyone seeking to make informed financial decisions for their future. Despite its minor flaws, "Reconfigurement" is a well-written and informative guide that is sure to benefit readers of all ages and backgrounds.

Reconfigurement is a self help book because it is offering a help that no one can give you. This book talks planning. Planning is a major prospect that can determine one's wellbeing at any age. The book's main focus is in retirement and how to plan for the golden age yet to come. Thanks for the review.
