In her book Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book, Kalliope Barlis shares valuable tips not just for improving golf skills but also for achieving success in life. She focuses on the power of the mind, using something called neuro-linguistic programming to help shape thoughts effectively.

Barlis challenges traditional ideas and offers a straightforward approach to getting better at the game. She argues that having the right mindset is more important than perfecting mechanics. The second part suggests practice routines that work absolutely perfectly, even almost miraculously. She provides drills to tackle common technical. The last part offers strategies for dealing with the challenges of real gameplay.

The author bases her advice on science, crafting practice exercises backed by research. The diagrams in the book were good. She introduces neuro-linguistic programming as a way to enhance golf performance, claiming that mental visualization can be more effective than endless practice. Quality of practice matters more than quantity, she says. Her distinction between the brain and the mind is insightful.

There's nothing negative to say about this book. Its simplicity is refreshing, even for non-golfers. Barlis aims for it to be a quick guide, and she succeeds. What's more, the techniques she discusses can be applied beyond golf, offering important insights into achieving desired outcomes and reducing unwanted ones. The combination of visuals and explanations is also something that I liked about this wonderful book.

I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first one the author wrote, and this book also contained no errors, showing that it was exceptionally edited. I am going to rate it 5 out of 5 stars because it is a very helpful book for those willing to learn more about golfing. I recommend it to professional golfers, amateur golfers, and those just interested in learning about golf as a sport.
