My spouse my friend by Ingiete Oyama is a profound exploration of the institution of marriage based on the Christian faith. It is structured to help one navigate through marriage. The 15 chapters meticulously written in the book help explore what marriage entails. Oyama explains what marriage really is about and how to deal with the challenges that crop during marriage.
This book helps get rid of the societal prejudices of marriage especially in today's generation. The different facets of marriage are talked about and expounded on .
Oyama leaves no stone unturned in every chapter and helps answer many of the questions arising in marriage today . Some of the contemporary issues like finances arising in marriage are talked about .
Oyama explains all these chapters using God's word as the foundation . She delves into the word of God and explains His will and plan in marriage. This provides a spiritual view of the facets of marriage . What is required of both spouses and the roles they ought to play in marriage are explained. This helps put everything into perspective.

Everything is broken down and explained. The illustrations used are easy to relate to . Oyama's personal experience gives the book an edge .

I rate this book 5 out of 5 as it has no flaws . There are no grammatical errors and it is correctly punctuated. The plotting is amazing and the author has explained each facet of marriage in depth this no question is left unanswered.
