"Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" by Kalliope Barlis does not follow the traditional golf instructional manual standards. Beyond modifying what's at the core of this book, my greatest assertion is that it targets you against yourself—not in reality, but on the inside.

This is just the same when it comes to your golf game. It is just a mental health check-up. Barlis is different from many instructors who think flipping a few more clubs at the driving range will repair the yips or negativity of muttering curses accompanying a bad shot. This book lays the groundwork for you to unravel your golfing brain's wiring and achieve success. However, this guide will be easy to follow and navigate, even for the non-technical. It, therefore, eliminates the need to go through all the technical jargon. It goes as deep as too much negative self-talk, too little visualizing the goal, and too little attaining focus—all these aspects can be hindering in a golf game more than the mechanics of a swing itself.

In addition, the book links the vision to focused practice. Now you can drop your unintelligent range work. By way of introducing "Play Golf Better Faster," we can learn exercises, such as putting and golf strokes, that particularly solve the typical weaknesses of golfers, thus helping you to improve your game to the point where your practice is reflected on the course.

Even though the book's tightness can be considered a considerable advantage, its lack of in-depth technical detail may lead some readers to seek other sources to supplement their learning. Yet it turns the attention of golfers toward the mental approach and efficient improvement. So, between the two, it surely is the captain. As the book is focused more on the mental approach and the technical details are just a supplement, I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars also because of its flawless editing.

This book is ideal for: players who want to be playful; those who feel like they are progressing slowly and cannot move on to the next course; and players who are time-strapped and want to master as much as possible. If you're ready to see rapid, noticeable improvements in your score, "Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" does not complicate the journey; it facilitates the process of playing golf and getting to these levels.
