Many of our problems come from wanting our own way, and many more come from having it. This is because God knows what's best for us. His plans for us in all aspects are better than our plans for ourselves. I highlighted this part of the book because it resonates with me in some way. In The Contentment Dilemma by Marcus Hurst, the writer talks about what it means to be a good Christian, highlighting points like why we should trust in God's plans, truth, and contentment.

King Solomon, despite having many wives and wealth, and despite acquiring everything his eyes desired, ultimately understood that it was vanity and there is nothing to be gained under the sun. The same resonates with some people in the world who seek wealth by all means, forgetting to trust in God and His will for us. A part of this book talks about truth; the writer believes that no matter how much you think you are right, there is always room for error, so we should always be open to listening to our partners' opinions.

This book was undeniably educative and informative. The writer didn't leave any stone unturned in explaining what attributes are seen in a good Christian. I was so intrigued in reading this book because of the quotes and lessons it had to offer on almost every page. I believe that anyone who has questions about life or why people suffer despite God's promised love should consider grabbing a copy of this book. I loved the use of Bible verses, as this book is an eye-opener to see that God has given mankind a solution to most problems through the knowledge found in the Bible.

I found nothing to dislike about this book apart from the font size of the words. I recommend bigger fonts for a better reading experience. I believe this book would be a bonus for every Christian and even non-Christians who come across it. I would rate this book five stars because of its clear narrative. I also didn't notice any grammatical errors while reading, indicating perfect editing.

In conclusion, I would recommend this book to people who love educational literature. I believe this book would sit well with people who want to strengthen their faith.
