Review of Almost Everything You Wanted To Know About Tickling
“Almost Everything You Wanted To Know About Tickling” by Duncan Taub is a nonfiction book that contains research from more than 2000 women from different countries to understand the role and effects of tickling among women and the factors that influence those effects. The research was conducted to determine the percentage of the most ticklish women and the percentage of the least ticklish women. The research also shows how country, age, culture, and religion can influence how ticklish a woman can be. To get full information on how women enjoy tickling, the areas where they like to be most tickled, and much more, read this book.
The first thing that grabbed my attention about this book was how the author took the time to write a book on this particular topic. This will be the first book I have seen that discusses the role of tickling among human beings. While growing up, I also experienced tickling on my body and had a lot of questions, such as, Why am I experiencing it? Is it a type of illness? Why do I feel a certain way when being tickled? And many more questions. But reading this book not only answers my questions but also provides several people's opinions on the topic.
According to this book, 45 percent of women who are in a relationship are more ticklish, and they are mostly tickled by their partners to play or to arouse sexual desire. When also analyzing how women are ticklish based on religion, it was discovered that Muslim women were more ticklish, and a higher percentage of the tickling was done by their romantic partners. It’s also taboo in Islam for males to tickle females who are not their children, sisters, or wives.
How people react to tickling varies by country and age. If tickling is done among family members, such as between mother and daughter or brother and sister, it’s probably done to change one's mood from being sad to playing with one another. Sometimes it’s done by males in a relationship to test if a woman is into them and if they can take the relationship to a romantic level. The book further discusses different body parts where women like to be tickled by friends or romantic partners. I did not dislike anything about this book.
This book is professionally edited, as I only found one grammatical error. Therefore, I would rate this book five out of five stars. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in knowing the effect of being tickled, what women like about it, and the perfect way in which they want to be tickled at a particular time.
