Abner Amador comments that dreams are abstract or sometimes vague. We have dreams, and the end goal for each of us, or rather, for many people, is to finally live the dream. New You: A Proven System to Turn Your Dreams into Reality is a book that focuses on turning the dream, through actionable steps, into reality. The author uses a systematic approach, moving from the dream, vision, planning, goals, and lastly, habits. The first four steps are incomplete without the last step. It is a step that ensures dreams do not just remain dreams.

The seven principles provided at the beginning of this book apply to the reader and look at potential, time, challenges, etc. In brief, Abner looks at life's nature and the power within each individual as aspects to be considered or kept in mind before going through the teachings that are provided on the transition to a "new you." Action steps are provided at the end of each chapter, providing clearly outlined steps on how to execute the topics discussed. This includes providing examples and the required format to write down the dreams, visions, goals, plans, and habits. Such examples proved vital in establishing the distinct difference between dreams and visions, which is a learning point that differs from other descriptions of the two words as almost synonymous by other authors. This, in turn, shows the essence of transforming dreams into visions.

Transforming dreams into reality is a process, and the author defines this book as a "companion in pursuit of dreams." With 25+ years of experience working for different companies, Abner has honed his skills by helping others achieve their goals through strategic methods. The steps provided for realizing one's dreams are easy to go through and are a shorter and clearer version of what proves to be a hard task for many individuals.

The author has used great and readily available examples, with the most notable one being the kitchen. Something that has been around for years yet has a great lesson to teach. By using the characters in the Narnia book collection by C.S. Lewis, he helps us look at the endless possibilities of dreams.

I rate New You: A Proven System to Turn Your Dreams into Reality by Abner Amador 5 out of 5 stars. The book has very few errors, exhibiting professional editing. The book helps the readers answer the questions, "What do we dream of, and how do we approach our dreams? What are the decisions we have to make to get there?" There is no aspect that I dislike about this book, but it would be extremely beneficial if the writing of the goals from the plans could be explained better after the sample dialogue has been provided.

I recommend this book to everyone who would love to see a transformation in their lives by realizing their dreams. This is a transformative book, and the writing and advice by Abner show that realizing your dreams doesn't have to be a dull and tiresome process.

We all have dreams. Unfortunately, they remain to be dreams of nothing is done upon them. I therefore appreciate Abner Amador of New You as he helps readers actualise their dreams to a reality. Thank you for this amazing review.
